There are a some factual errors that are significant and should be pointed out:

"Tucson attorney Bill Risner stood before a Pima County Superior Court judge earlier this month and asked the court to take another look at the 2006 Regional Transportation Authority election."

Actually, the court refused to take a look in the first place when Judge Harrington ruled that they had no jurisdiction. The appellate court overturned Harrington's decision.

"Risner and other critics questioned the results when the plan passed, citing conflicting polls and precinct reports, and pointing out that the growth lobby had a lot to gain in a $2.1 billion plan to pay for roads and improvements."

According to Bill Risner, Risner did not "question the results of the plan when it had passed". He assumed it had passed. Information discovered later called the RTA's passage into question.

"Before that hearing ended, then-Attorney General Terry Goddard had the ballots inspected and counted, and determined there was no foul play."

Terry Goddard did not have the ballots inspected. That was the precise thing he refused to do.Intercepthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03780885180607579873noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-44116294612602190.post-22622962412851596552012-03-15T10:36:09.479-07:002012-03-15T10:36:09.479-07:00Good luck obtaining election integrity or for that...Good luck obtaining election integrity or for that matter any other politics-related integrity. Too much power is built upon the confusion and the lack of transparency. The fraud (election fraud and other fraud) just makes me sick. And while on the topic of election fraud, a jurisdiction in Florida is now inadvertently setting itself up for an election fiasco that involves a corrupt judge and several of his co-conspirators. On a related side-note regarding public corruption, Florida just ranked as one of the most corrupt states in a highly publicized February 2012 corruption report. The fraud and corruption is both sad and endemic. You can’t make this stuff up. Take a look at http://www.complaints.com/2012/march/14/Corrupt_Judge_David_P._Kreider_now_taints_the_ele_264712.htm for more information.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
